Stephanie Waszgis (Dorsch) was born and raised in South Omaha and graduated from Bryan High School in 1993. Stephanie has been married to her husband, Ben, for 23 years and they have one son, Dawson. Ben works for Union Pacific Railroad and their son, who like his Dad enjoys to work metal, is in his 2nd year apprenticeship with Sheet Metal Workers Local 3. In her spare time, Stephanie loves to be with her family doing outdoor activities like camping, gardening and travelling. Stephanie is a fantastic baker and enjoys being in the kitchen trying new recipes, especially cheesecakes and cookies.

Stephanie joined Smart Insurance Solutions® in the Summer of 2022 to provide customer service support to our Medicare clients. Previously she worked for several years at a local dental supply company before moving to Preferred Marketing Associates (PMA) in 2018. PMA is our contracting and compliance partner at the 163rd and Maple location. For 4 years, Stephanie provided Medicare product support and training to insurance agents and brokers across Nebraska. During her time at PMA, she formed great relationships with reps from different insurance companies and learned the different computer systems each company provides as enrollment and service tools. Stephanie took the next step to become a licensed agent in early 2023 to help folks with Medicare plans in Nebraska and Iowa. Her prior experience and caring personality make her a great asset to the team!
